1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using HelloHumphreys ("the Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Site immediately. These terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and contributors.
2. Description of Service
HelloHumphreys is a private community website for residents and visitors of Camp Humphreys, Pyeongtaek, Korea. The Site provides housing listings, a local business directory, and a community board. HelloHumphreys is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the U.S. Army, Department of Defense, or any official military organization.
3. User Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and truthful information during registration.
4. User-Generated Content
Users may post housing listings, business listings, and community board messages. By submitting content, you grant HelloHumphreys a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute that content on the Site. You represent that your content does not violate any third-party rights or applicable law. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable.
5. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to: (a) post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings; (b) harass, threaten, or harm other users; (c) use the Site for spam or unsolicited commercial messages; (d) attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or the Site infrastructure; (e) post content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or discriminatory.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. HelloHumphreys does not warrant that the Site will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses. We do not verify the accuracy of listings or user-posted content.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HelloHumphreys shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site, including damages from reliance on user-posted information.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the United States and, where applicable, the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation or, failing that, binding arbitration.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will post the effective date of any revision at the top of this page.
